Online Roulette Intro

Are you a roulette virgin? If so, it's time to pop your cherry. Roulette is a game that will reel you in once you give it a chance. But first, you need to learn the rules.
The object of roulette is to simply guess where the ball will land after spinning on the wheel. There is a multitude of bets you can place to either play it safe or win big. The roulette table has 36 red and black numbers as well as a green zero and a double zero.
While playing internet roulette at an online casino you simply place your bet and then sit back and relax as the ball spins. If it lands on one of the numbers you predicted then you win! The most strategy involved in the game of roulette is which bet to place.
Here are a couple examples of bets you can place at the roulette table:
The first bet you should learn is the straight-up bet which is placed on a single number. If you choose the winning number then you will be paid 35 to 1.
The next bet you should know about when playing roulette is the split bet which is placed on the line between two different numbers. If the ball lands on either of those numbers then you will win at roulette with a payout of 17 to 1.
That pretty much the basics, have a look at our roulette tips, roulette strategy and articles section to really get a feel of how to become a pro roulette player.

Advanced Strategy Tip
There is something of a paradox in roulette. Following this strategy, is is theoretically impossible to lose: Put a chip on a 50/50, red, for example. If you win, you get one chip profit, repeat this process until you lose. Upon losing, put two times your wager and half (rounded up) on red again. Repeat till you win again then return to betting one chip. So the sequence of bets if you lost six in a row (if six blacks in a row came up) would be one, three, nine, twenty-five, sixty, 150. As an alternative to decrease the odds of using up all your bankroll, you can use Martingales system that just doubles up after every loss. A pretty decent sequence that I've been using the last few months is one, three, six, fifteen, thirty-five, eighty, 170. In theory you can keep doing this forever and will always beat the casino because there won't ever be an infinite sequence of blacks.

If you have a large bankroll you can win a huge amount of money betting that a long sequence of blacks will not come up. Half the time you will be winning one dollar, the other times you'll win a lot more until you reach that long long sequence of blacks and you lose the bankroll. But if you put all your winning bets aside you will find that if this sequence happens you will have made enough in winnings to reduce the impact of the loss. The secret is to leave before this happens so lay out a specific number of games to play and ensure your bankroll is enough to cover any improbable sequences. If you only play a few games you'll earn a nice amount with little risk of losing.
Try this system out with play money first before having a go with your own cash.  Rushmore casino (link below) offers fun money as well as real money so you can see how it works.
